About Nathalie Banfill
Long-term Motivation and Confidence come from within — and I’m here to help you cultivate it.
Credentials and Expertise First
I’m Nat, a certified Life Coach and ADHD Coach with a B.A. in Child Studies (with a concentration in Disabilities), plus certifications in Time Management & Organization — and a second ADHD Coaching certification on the way. I help adults with ADHD live lives that honour their strengths, abilities, and authentic selves.
While many coaches are neurodivergent themselves (which can foster empathy), effective ADHD coaching requires specialized training, evidence-informed strategies, and a deep understanding of how the ADHD brain works. My education, certifications, and professional experience allow me to provide personalized approaches that help clients manage executive function challenges, build sustainable habits, and achieve their goals with clarity and confidence.
My Personal Journey
Like many late-diagnosed adults, I grew up hearing things like, “She’s very smart but needs to apply herself more,” “messy and disorganized,” or “not living up to her potential.” What my teachers didn’t see was how hard I was trying, and maybe you felt the same way.
After years of perfectionism, anxiety, and too many burnouts, I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. I also have Auditory Processing Disorder and Autism, which added another layer of challenge. Through my own journey, mentorship, and education, I realized: I wasn’t broken. I was a “lost girl” searching for tools, support, and understanding that actually worked for me.
Who I Work With
I specialize in supporting late-diagnosed adults with ADHD who are tired of burnout, perfectionism, and self-shaming. If you’ve spent years trying to live according to what you think you “must” do or how you think you “should” be, I understand, and I can help.
While I have a deep understanding of late-diagnosed experiences, I also work with adults with ADHD at any stage of diagnosis. Whether you’ve been navigating ADHD for years or were diagnosed more recently, my coaching is designed to meet you where you are and support you in living a life that honours your strengths and abilities.
Don’t have an ADHD diagnosis but struggle with executive functioning and emotional regulation? Executive functions are the brain-based skills that help us plan, prioritize, start tasks, manage time, regulate emotions, and follow through on goals. If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally reactive, or burned out — even without ADHD or a diagnosis— my coaching can help you build practical strategies, clarity, and confidence in daily life.
How I Help
I help clients:
Challenge internalized shame, masking, and perfectionism
Build a stronger, compassionate relationship with themselves
Listen to their bodies and minds, not just push through
Set goals in manageable steps to prevent burnout
Reclaim energy and focus for what matters most
Working together, my clients start to trust themselves again, feel empowered to make choices aligned with their strengths, and take steps toward a life that feels genuinely theirs.
My Coaching Style
Think of our online sessions as coffee with a professional friend who’s honest, supportive, and cheering you on. My coaching is client-led and grounded in your goals, and I combine compassionate accountability with my professional education, evidence-based tools, and personalized strategies to help you achieve what you want while building independence along the way.
